Join us for the 2nd edition of Program Your Virtual Pet at Coding a Story!
Two years ago, we launched the first edition, and now we’re back with even more fun and special features! Kids aged 7 to 12 can bring their virtual pet dreams to life using microcontrollers—just like the classic Tamagotchi, but with exciting new twists.

This year, participants can track their pets’ activities with a wristband and pedometer, allowing them to monitor their pets’ walks and daily adventures together!

During this interactive event, young coders will:

1. Design and Customize Pets: Kids will let their creativity shine by designing unique virtual pets with personalized appearances and characteristics.

2. Learn to Code: Through hands-on programming challenges, participants will code their pets’ behaviors—hunger, sleepiness, happiness, and more—building essential coding skills in a fun, guided environment.

3. Interactive Play: Kids can interact with their pets in real-time, nurturing them and observing their responses to different actions and environments.

4. Take-Home Option: At the end, kids can bring their digital pets home or leave them with us to share the fun with future participants.

Whether your child is a budding coder or a pet lover, this second edition promises more creativity, learning, and playful technology than ever before.
