Holiday Camp Coding and Animation 14th-18th of July 2025
From Sketch to Screen – Where Creativity Meets Code
A one-of-a-kind summer camp for kids aged 5 to 12
At this imaginative camp, art and technology come together! Children will dream up their own characters, sketch them by hand or on a tablet, and then bring them to life through programming – turning ideas into short animations and interactive stories.
Our Trainers:
We’re thrilled to welcome Chris Solarski – creative director, game designer, author, and UX expert – who will guide the kids through character design and animation. Liana Vinersan, software engineer, will lead the coding sessions, teaching children how to program their animated stories.
It all begins with drawing: kids invent characters, choose colors, define features, and imagine how they move – the sky’s the limit! Then, they dive into animation and learn basic coding commands to make their creations move, speak, and interact.
From bouncing animals to talking robots and dancing monsters, coding becomes a fun and creative journey in a playful, child-friendly setting.
And of course, screen time isn’t the whole story – we’ll also have plenty of outdoor fun! With active breaks, nature time, and creative group games, kids will gather fresh inspiration for their digital projects.
By the end of the week, every child will have a unique animated clip or story – a personal creation they can be proud of, showcasing their creativity and growing tech skills.
We speak German and English.
