Animation & Storytelling
Let’s celebrate the power of imagination! In this course we’ll open our minds and laugh together. We’ll read, watch and debate. We’ll use creative thinking, problem solving and logical skills to create original stories and wacky animation films.
Join in the fun, it’s going to be supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!
Topics to be tackled:
the illusion of movement, flipbooks, stop-motion techniques, image composition, effective storytelling, the importance of editing, sound design and more.
I’ve got a long list of topics, but most importantly, I hope to inspire kids to love stories and use them as a form of self-expression.

I believe that human connection is fundamental to learning so we’ll be working in a small group. It is one of my goals that every child feels at ease during class, listened to and supported. No mumbo-jumbo to be used, just empathy and a decent amount of silliness. 🙂
