SUMMARY:Toy Making & Coding Camp
DESCRIPTION:Welcome to a unique camp where kids don’t follow templates – they design, build, and program their own toys entirely from scratch! This hands-on adventure invites children aged 5–12 to explore creativity, coding, and engineering, combining technology with craft, imagination, and problem-solving.
What kids will experience:
Foundations of Coding – Using friendly, age-appropriate programming tools and playful challenges, campers learn key coding concepts such as sequences, loops, and logic while making their toy creations interactive and dynamic.
Design & Build Your Toys from Scratch – Children plan, design, and construct their toys from scratch, using wood, 3D-printed parts, and craft materials. Along the way, they explore engineering principles and learn how mechanical and electronic systems work.
Integrate Sensors, Motors & Technology – Bring toys to life with simple electronics, motors, and sensors. Campers experiment with creative applications such as:

Motorized moving parts or spinning elements
Light or sound sensors that trigger toy reactions
Interactive displays or motion-activated features
Basic robotics concepts to make toys respond to touch or movement

By combining scratch-built creations with digital interactivity, campers gain hands-on experience in coding, engineering, and problem-solving in a fun, engaging way.
Outdoor Exploration & Creative Play – The camp also includes playful activities that combine movement, imagination, and problem-solving:

Designing obstacle courses or toy challenges
Brainstorming improvements to toy functionality
Collaborative play to test and iterate designs

Teamwork & Problem Solving – Kids work in small groups, strengthening communication, cooperation, and creative problem-solving as they tackle design and coding challenges together.
Showcase & Celebration – At the end of the week, campers present their scratch-built, interactive toys — from prototypes to fully functional demonstrations — to their parents, celebrating what they’ve imagined, built, and programmed.
Why this camp is special:

Kids build and code toys entirely from scratch, no templates involved
Combines coding fundamentals with hands-on toy engineering and crafts
Encourages creativity, critical thinking, and interactive play
Blends indoor projects, tech challenges, and playful outdoor activities
Delivered in both German and English, so kids can learn and experiment comfortably in either language
Perfect for kids of all experience levels, from beginners to young inventors

Practical info & what to bring:Bring morning snack (Znüni), lunch, afternoon snack (Zvieri), drinks, and outdoor-ready clothing.
We speak German and English.
