SUMMARY:Robotics for 7-12 years old: Build and Program your robot
DESCRIPTION:The classes are bilingual (EN & DE). The classes take place every Thursday, excepting the school holidays.
This class is intended for children that are at least 7 years old and can read.
Welcome to our exciting Robotics Adventure class designed for budding engineers and tech enthusiasts aged 7 to 12! In this engaging and hands-on course, young minds will embark on a journey into the world of robotics, discovering the wonders of technology through creativity and innovation.
**Course Overview:**
**1. Introduction to Robotics:** Dive into the basics of robotics as we explore the fascinating history and evolution of robots. Kids will learn about the various types of robots and their real-world applications.
**2. Hands-On Building:** Get ready to roll up your sleeves! Our young engineers will have the opportunity to build their own robots using a variety of age-appropriate kits. From assembling the chassis to connecting electronic components, every step is a chance to understand the mechanics of these amazing machines.
**3. Programming Fun:** Unleash the power of coding as kids learn to program their robots to perform tasks and navigate through challenges. Using a beginner-friendly programming language, they will develop problem-solving skills while bringing their creations to life.
**4. Teamwork and Collaboration:** Robotics is all about teamwork! Our classes foster a collaborative environment where kids work together, share ideas, and solve problems as a team. Building social skills and communication is just as important as building robots.
**5. Creative Challenges:** Put creativity to the test with exciting challenges designed to encourage out-of-the-box thinking. From navigating obstacle courses to solving puzzles, each challenge presents a new opportunity for young minds to apply their newfound knowledge.
**6. Real-World Applications:** Explore how robots are used in the real world, from helping people with disabilities to exploring distant planets. Understand the impact of robotics on our daily lives and envision a future where technology plays a vital role.
**7. Show and Tell:** Celebrate the accomplishments of our young engineers in a fun and interactive show-and-tell session. Parents and guardians are invited to witness firsthand the incredible robots their children have created and programmed.
**Why Join our Robotics Adventure Class?**
– **Inspiration:** Ignite a passion for technology and innovation in a fun and supportive environment.
– **Critical Thinking:** Develop problem-solving skills through hands-on activities and challenges.
– **STEM Learning:** Gain a solid foundation in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
– **Creativity:** Encourage creativity and imagination as kids design and build their own robots.
– **Future Skills:** Equip kids with valuable skills for the future in a world increasingly shaped by technology.
